We are currently seeking to recruit new governors to join the Horizon School Management Committee.
Horizon works with children and young people who have been excluded from school, have significant social, emotional and mental health needs, or are unable to attend school due to medical or mental health reasons. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about improving the educational experiences and outcomes of these vulnerable learners.
We are seeking governors who:
- Have a genuine interest in supporting the education of children and young people with complex needs
- Are committed to promoting inclusion, aspiration and positive outcomes
- Are able to attend up to six meetings per year, held after school
- Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated committee
Previous governance experience is welcome but not essential; induction and training will be provided.
